Further Improvements for Heaths in B6HR Qualifying

The Homegas/RaceAway Track Time Toyota 86 of Graeme and Josh Heath will start fourth in Class D for tomorrow’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour, after the team found some further performance improvements in qualifying today.

Graeme Heath punched out a 2:42.4 – the fastest lap achieved by the 86 around Bathurst – while Josh Heath’s times also continued to improve.

“Phil (Alexander) and I made some changes to the car overnight, and it was a significant improvement – it was handling a lot more nicely over the top of the mountain,” Graeme said.

“Josh’s times have been improving as well, and it’s been a positive day overall.

“While we would have liked to have been a little higher up than fourth, the times are extremely close and I know our race pace will be competitive for tomorrow,” Heath concluded.

Warm-up for the Bathurst 6 Hour will be held at 8:10 tomorrow morning. The race commences at 11:30 and will be live-streamed on www.bathurst6hour.com.au
