Miller On Track for Prod Sports Title Defence

Jason Miller will launch his CUE Production Sports Endurance Series title defence at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend, aboard the Stokes Skis Australia Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

Miller has confirmed he will line up for the four-round series, which also consists of events at Bathurst, Wakefield Park and Phillip Island.

After taking to the track for three practice sessions today, Miller was enthused by the performance of his Porsche.

“There was a lot of rain in Sydney yesterday, so the track was very green in the first practice session and it took a while for the grip levels to increase,” he said.

“The second session was a lot better – there was more rubber on the track, and the car felt nicely balanced.

“Unfortunately, there was some oil on the track during the third session and it was also delayed due to a crash, so I wasn’t able to improve my time.

“All in all, I think we have a decent package heading into qualifying tomorrow. The weather conditions look like they will be changeable, which will keep everyone on their toes.”

The Prod Sports action resumes with a pair of 20 minute qualifying sessions and a 60 minute race tomorrow.
